*UPDATE — October 9, 2018* We appreciate the enthusiasm the community has shown for the November CWP course. The class is now full. This is the last CWP course for 2018, but because the community interest has been so high, we expect to schedule more classes in 2019.
*UPDATE — October 1, 2018* Due to overwhelming demand, we have added one final CWP course for 2018. This class will be held on November 3. Anyone interested in participating in this course and earning a valid South Carolina CWP should call the District at (864) 457-3101 and leave a message for Investigator Chris Jenkins who will provide all necessary information and instruction.
*UPDATE — July 21, 2018* We appreciate the enthusiasm the community has shown for the September CWP course. As of now, the class is full, but we have a waiting list in case any participants withdraw. If the community interest still exists, we will schedule another course for November.
————————
Each year, the Landrum Area Fire and Rescue District conducts a Concealed Weapons Permit (CWP) course for members of our community.
Seventeen people participated in this year’s class, and due to the overwhelming response, on September 8, 2018, Landrum Fire and Rescue Investigator/Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Chris Jenkins will conduct a second course.
Investigator Jenkins is instrumental in implementing this portion of the District’s Community Risk Reduction (CRR) program.
Anyone interested in participating in this course and earning a valid South Carolina CWP should call the District at (864) 457-3101 and leave a message for Investigator Chris Jenkins who will provide all necessary information and instruction.
